Starting Saturday, June 30th at, 7am at the north end of Lighthouse Beach, we will begin our training schedule with fellow ERCers doing the Saturday Morning Long Runs.

We'll be using modified versions of the Hal Higdon training programs for "Novice 1", Novice 2 and "Intermediate 2".  The programs and guidance can be found at Higdon Half-marathon training.

The training schedule is set for the Prairie State Half in Long Grove on Oct 6th, but you can choose other fall halves to your preference. If you want to do a double, come join Chuck at the Alpine Races in Lake Zurich on Sept. 9th and you can get two 13.1 races done in a month
