HALF MARATHON TRAINING


We'll be using modified versions of the Hal Higdon training program.  The programs and guidance can be found at Higdon Half-Marathon training.  

2023 Fall Half Marathon Training will start on Saturday June 15th. Normally, we meet at Lighthouse Beach  at 7AM for a 7:15 start. On some weeks, we meet at an alternate location. Check your email for Josh's weekly updates. To join the training group send an email to Josh Decker

Our target race is the Hidden Gem Half Marathon , but you can modify the schedule to suit your own target race.

An important part of our training is hydration and nutrition. Thanks to our fellow club members, we provide Gatorade and water along the route.  Click the button below to volunteer to set up or take down our aid stations.
