Team CIF - Center for Independent Futures - Every year a group of dedicated athletes make the ultimate CIF commitment: to run 26.2 miles and raise at least $750 for CIF programs and services. Since 2007, Team CIF has raised over $100,000 by running for possibilities. You can be a part of Team CIF and help individuals with disabilities realize their hopes and dreams. Action for Healthy Kids is a Chicago based non-profit organization that works nationwide to fight obesity and sedentary lifestyles by providing resources and programs to schools to improve nutrition and physical activity education and practices. We are seeking people, who have already registered for the Chicago Marathon, that might be interested in fundraising around our cause & to join our team. Our exciting news is that Ultra Marathon Man, Dean Karnazes, will be running on our team!

RUN FOR AUTISM still has a ton of entries into the race, and as the signature fundraising effort for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR), challenges individuals to reach a racing goal and raise funds for autism research. Since 2003, the RUN program has raised just over $3.8 million. In roughly the same span, OAR has awarded $2.2 million in new research grants for 120 research studies from researchers across the U.S. and abroad.
RESEARCH FOR DOWNS SYNDROME Runners is the only charity running program dedicated to Down syndrome research. Our mission is the development of safe and effective drugs to improve memory and learning in persons with Down syndrome. To-date, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, has raised more than $50 million toward fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 200 pediatric cancer research projects nationally.
