Many club members are involved in local charitable organizations that need our help. There are often local events for which ERC members volunteer and/or provide money or materials. If you have a charity worth the attention of other ERC members and/or their families, please let us know so we can post the info here.

Members Running for Charities
Several ERC Members and Friends “ran for charities” in connection with the 2009 Chicago Marathon or other good causes. Here's how they did:
Doris Taerbaum - Susan G. Komen race for the Cure - $550+!
Debbie Nelson - American Cancer Society - $795!
Amarpal Matharu - ASHA - $1,200!
Irene Lee - Urban Students Empowered - over $900!
Karyn Herndon - RISE International - $8,867.90, and the TeamRISE group of 25 of us raised over $140K!
Team CIF - one of our Evanston partners, raised nearly $23,000 to support innovative work with individuals with disabilities and their families!
